Trailering Cream Cheese
Cream Cheese has lived in Colorado, Delaware and Pennsylvania and has sailed in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, the Chesapeake Bay,
Long Island Sound, Poconos, Vermont, the St. Lawrence Seaway and Canda's Algonquin Provincial Park.
The main features of my trailer and storage rig are:
- 90 degree bunks
- Combination mast crutch and trailer clamp
- Tapered frame for draping the boat cover

Tapered frame for the boat cover. This taper keeps the slope of the tarp at more or less 45 degrees throughout the length of the boat.
It makes a big difference with heavy snows and ice.

This framework acts as a crutch for tieing down the mast while trailering and a clamp for securing the boat to the trailer. The chief
benefit is that it removes all sqeezing forces on the gunnles and keeps all downward forces on the chines rather than the more flexible bottom panels.
